A large group ordering across the range of dishes and every one a gem. Table service was exemplary. Could not fault a thing. Well done.

Dined here on a local recommendation. While the food mains were excellent (some of the best cooked beef and venison), the other dishes were just good and the atmosphere lacked a little bit.
As mentioned the beef and venison were cooked to perfection, some of the best we've had and the overall value was great.

Last month I spend 10 days solo in Queenstown and tried the highly recommended restaurants in town. I ended up going back again and again to Pier 19, which in my opinion is the best restaurant in Queenstown. As a hobby-home cook and spoiled investment banker I am used to 5 star hotels and excellent food/restaurants everywhere I go. Pier...

We called in for a few drinks & tapas on a late Friday afternoon/evening. The staff were very welcoming, professional and engaging (probably one of the best experiences in Queenstown). Beer selection was a bit limited, but the wine list was fanastic, so we were happy enough. We would have loved to have stayed for dinner, but for another commitment....

My friend and I dined at Pier 19 on Thursday night and had scallops for an entree and then both choose the Pork Belly, what a taste sensation for both meals! I have lived in Queenstown for the last 3 years and this would of been one of the better meals I have had. The service was very attentative without...

We had a table for two in the middle of the room with not the nicest aspect but it didn't dampen the atmosphere at all. It was warm and cosy in a lovely environment. Our meals of crayfish and lamb were and the service was friendly and professional.

We ate here a couple of times for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. It is located near the lake and it is very pleasant to sit and watch the world go by. The food is good and the service was quick.

We ended up here for dinner on our wedding anniversary. Not having been to Queenstown before we saved some restaurants that we liked the look of from Trip Advisor and booked the Prime restaurant on this basis. When we got there it wasn't what was expected so we had to go walk about for somewhere else. Pier 19 has a...

It was our last night in Queenstown and after a day driving to Milford Sound in rain and cloud we were tired. We were the last people into and out of the restaurant which wasn't busy on a Sunday night and it was cold so nice to go in somewhere warm and atmospheric.
The staff were really friendly, the food...
