My wife and I holidayed in New Zealand over the Easter period and loved every minute of it. However, the culinary highlight by a long way was our wonderful meal at your superb restaurant. Somewhat jaded by restaurant menus that offered steak steak and more steak we were delighted to stumble across your place. What a delight! The service was... More

Ate there twice on our last visit to Queenstown. Both times food and service was excellent. This is a very happy place with even the chefs in their open kitchen obviously enjoying themselves. It is busy and a bit noisy but well worth a visit. More

Food is excellent but the restaurant has a compromised shape and location in middle of shopping street doesn't create a great ambiance. More

Fishbone Bar & Grill is the type of place that has my name all over it. It is bright, has a great vibe and the staff were friendly and helpful and it is all about seafood. The open kitchen is a bonus. The wines were great, but the food was just okay. I had some bluff oysters to start and... More

We went here a couple of times during our stay in Queenstown. A must do if you're a fan of fish. Fresh, tasty dishes served by incredibly friendly and helpful staff. More

My best friend and I found this place through the Lonely Planet book, it was highly recommended and we were not disappointed. We ordered the seafood platter (for two) and gorged ourselves on premium food. The staff were professional and friendly and deserved their tip. Make a reservation if you can, it's quite popular, but definitely worth the wait! More

I ate at this restaurant in 1998 and returned twice during that trip as the seafood was so, so good. 13yrs later I returned again hoping I would have a similar culinary experience.Things had changed. Gone, the dark interior, cosy candle lit diner tables, but also sadly some of the character as well. Instead it had been replaced with a... More

Fishbone was one of our favorite restaurants in Queenstown. Small and very friendly - great seafood and fresh salads. More

Been there before and it was very enjoyable so was quite disappointed when we returned on this trip. Booked for two and were seated next to a very noisy table of 4 - made it difficult to have a conversation - not the restaurant's fault you might say but I think from the conversation that it might have been the...
