It was our last day in this beautiful city & we wanted somewhere cosy & quiet to share a meal with our friends to celebrate a great week. Had it not been for Chris enticing us into the Captains Restaurant we would not have had such a happy and memorable experience. The food was fantastic, warm and cosy surroundings and great staff. During our 5 day stay in Queenstown we had the opportunity to visit several restaurants and we found this to be outstanding. More

After wandering around the town, we were glad we choose this restaurant. There's a good variety of entrees and mains, they're good sizes and good value for money. Highly recommend the seafood chowder, and the rack of lamb. Yum! More

We were disappointed when the Beefeater Steakhouse in Queenstown, closed down. This visit, we tried the Captains Restaurant and are convinced it is the perfect replacement! We both enjoyed our steaks, which were cooked exactly the way we wanted. The waitress was very pleasant and we enjoyed our visit there. We will be back! More
