This is much cheaper than lots of places around QT so a good choice for a cheap meal. You won't get any fancy trimmings or presentation though. Like home-cooked on a busy night! More

Visited pub for lunch and dinner and had a great experience (friendly staff / meal was good value for money / lovely fire). We went back mid morning on our last day in QT for brunch and attitude of one staff member was terrible. (no greeting / felt like everything we asked was a chore / scoffed at our questions)... More

Popped in for a casual lunch - was a quiet weekday so we were lucky to nab the table next to the fire! Staff were helpful and brought over a great wee high-chair for my baby girl. Was a very funky wee seat that fits to one of the restaurant chairs, so she could sit right up to the table.... More

They have a good deal for big beers on Fridays for happy hour. We went back there to have the beef wellington and were very pleased. Nice atmosphere, great views on the patio. More

Do not order a pub breakfast, paid $61 for 3...bacon was like boiled, pork sausage was cooked on the outside, one bite told me it was raw and cold on the inside, I spat it out. Scrambled eggs were way under cooked, brown bread was not toasted and cut too thickly, bacon was boiled, mushrooms were raw. We enjoyed the... More

Nice location with good food (and plenty of it) and very reasonable. Had great live entertainment the night we were there. Good selection of beers. Be warned that service is not a focus. Order at the bar and they bring the food to your table. But it is a pub and it all seemed to work well. More

Spent a couple of early evenings here. Lively atmosphere, full range of Mac's beers ( I love Mac's Black). Food is really good quality for a pub, and very reasonably priced. More

We had brunch twice at this pub. The food was great (try the omelette - it was huge and tasty)and the staff were friendly and efficient. It was also a pleasant place to visit with great views of the lake and of the busy Queenstown wharf area. The weather was so good we sat outside and enjoyed our meal in... More

Meals are very reasonably price and very delicious. They also have $10 dinner meal on Mon and Tue. We didn't try $10 meal, we just ate normal $20 meal and it is very good value and delicious. I love the pork belly meal and my husband love the salmon. More
