This lounge bar is ultra-cool; great music, good choice of craft beers, and 'tis a wonderful place to unwind with a cocktail (pre or post dinner!); the barmen know their stuff. I once asked the barman to invent for me a cocktail "with the flavor of pear" and on the spot he busted out the most AMAZING drink. I tip... More

We walked past Bond Lounge Bar on our way to dinner. We had a cocktail each and the were delicious. A very warm place and very friendly staff - cheers

The barkeeps know what they're doing behind that bar. The staff likes to play around with different combinations to invent tasty, well-crafted cocktails. Great variety of bottles, too. Their menu is limited, so this would be a place best suited for a pre-game or a nightcap. My only gripe is that they were not equipped with everything for the drinks... More

I travel to Taupo regularly for work and have always found the bars and restaurants cater more to the backpacker crowd than a business traveller.
