Was in Napier for 2 days and ate here twice. The muffins has NO equal and the creamy Mushroom breakfast exceptional. A wonderful escape from the weather but the outside seating will be our next try on our return- and we will.

I made mum and dad come back here 3 times, even though they forgot dad's eggs the first time but soon fixed it. Breakfast is good with an extensive breakfast and lunch menu available from 7am every day. Coffee was the best I had tasted in a very long time! Very large cabinet with plenty of delicious looking savory and...

Early saturday morning coffee and cheesecake. The coffee was very good but the cheesecake was better. Never been here before, but after this stop I certainly will be trying more of their cakes. The service was good as they had the coffee and cheese cakes arrive at the same time which never seems to happen. Often cafes will have the...

Had a light lunch here after watching the Vintage Car Parade, one of the highlights of the Art-Deco weekend. The restaurant had a selection of savoury snacks and desserts on display as well as a board showing a range of light cooked meals. Our savoury snacks included paninis and bagels, and our desserts included mango cheesecake and tiramisu cake. We...

Wow the mars bar cheese cake here is amazing! Awesome location on Emerson street, great outdoor seating and nice coffee, only thing service was slow, but the staff were friendly and had a great atmosphere inside and outside the cafe, will defiantly go back again!
We always go to cappadona whenever we stop for lunch in Napier on the way to Gisborne. The food is a bit pricey but worth it. Love the Feijoa Smoothies (only in winter-a must try!) & my husband said the muffin is one of the best muffins he has ever tasted! I believe him because he never put butter on...

I have patroned Cappadonna many times over the years and it has always remained my most favorite cafe.
The food selection is extremely good, with great portion sizes and excellent quality. If I had enough room in my stomach I would have one of everything! Unfortunately I don't therefore whenever I'm in Napier I go to Cappadonna several times.

Great cafe in the city center, wonderful choices, great sandwiches and coffee, chic customers, sunny dining al fresco.
Wandered into Cappadonna for lunch and found heaven on earth. It has the largest collection of cakes and slices I've seen in a cafe...and the quality was as I said heavenly. I ordered a gourmet chicken sandwich and Baked New York Cheesecake and both did not dissapoint. I highly recommend those with sweet toothes to stop in and try a...
