Took my mum here against for another delicious meal. Service is great, food is lovely and always walk out feeling we've had value for money. One of our fave's.

We ate here as part of a conference function. So it was a set menu but the food and service were excellent. Atmosphere was also very good. Can certainly recomend Em-Bar-Go.

My husband and I visited Embargo last week for a mid-week meal. We were using "GrabOne" vouchers which provided breads, a bottle of Haha wine, two mains and chocolate truffles, a very good deal. This is a really top notch place...Service is execellent. Food was devine. A really good atmosphere. Located near the Alexandra St end of Garden Place, you can dine out front in a sectioned off area and has an outdoor fireplace as an added touch. Loved the coffee as a finishing touch...Waddled off to the casino after, thoroughly replete! AAAAA.

Lovely food and warm friendly service. Much appreciated last meal in NZ before going back to home country. Recommended are the lamb, the scallops, the fish.... Yum
