This noodle restaurant used to be a favorite cheap eat place for me for years, until this recent visit which was very disappointing. The handmade noodles are lovely so the two stars are for the noodle making alone. The food was not very good however. I ordered the spicy noodle with beef and my husband ordered the tofu with rice.... More

Had the braised pork and rice, heaps of meat, melt in your mouth chunks of stewed pork in a soy based sauce with a few greens and a generous serve of rice. The boys had the hand pulled noodles stir fried with meat and veges - once again, huge!! Young table staff and probably overseas students, I know its not... More

We went on a Thursday night, I often try to come here when I am in Melbourne. I love the spring onion cake but it is greasy. It is what it is but the food is good. Staff are not so great but, iris only a cheap eat!

Went there at 11.30 for lunch on a weekday, there were only a few other dinners and it took between 20 minutes and half an hour from when we ordered to when our dim sum and spring rolls were served. No sweet chilli sauce or garnish as shown in menu picture. Dim sum processed-chewy and tasteless. If you do go... More

90 per cent of the eaters in this spot are Asians -- always a good sign for a chinese noodle house. Fresh noodles are made by a chef in the front of the store. We had a chinese set meal of 12 items ($15) and a spicy pork dumpling soup: it was delicious but too much and we have brought... More

Was in the mood for a quick inexpensive meal without resorting to fast food since I was by myself on a business trip. Saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to give this a try. The food was really good - much better than I expected. I had a chicken/noodle stir fry. Very spicy as I like it. Overall price... More

Have been to this restaurant a few times because the food is really good, and price is really affordable. The pulled noodle is something definitely not to be missed. And so are the dumplings. Unfortunately this place is NOT KNOWN for its service -- brash, rash, unwelcoming, inattentive... sometimes once in a while, one or two of the newer floor... More

Great value of money and wonderful taste. The Box Hill branch is the best, and recently redecoed.
