Located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, this is the perfect start to a Friday night out to get over your week of corporate slog, or a quick beer and lunch during the day. The place is packed during rush time so make sure to make a booking. upstairs seating is the preferred place. This is one of the many... More

A nice work day lunch place with colleagues - it fills quickly so make sure to book. Does a reasonable job of Asian favourites.

Situated in such a central spot, this small cafe has lots of atmosphere and activity. Though the "lane" is modern and part of a big shopping/transport complex, there is still that feeling of intimacy.

This restaurant opened in early 2011 (as far as I know). I have visited around 4 or 5 times. The food is authentic with a nice range of non alcohol cocktails and local style drinks. Service has always been good and the restaurant is pleasant to dine in. Opened on Sunday afternoons as well so great for an early dinner... More

Chance upon this late night place after a long trip back from the country and what an amazing find. Open till late Fridays and Saturdays only so now I come here when I'm hungry in the middle of the night after drinks. Nothing taste as good as a plate of satays and curry and roti when you are tipsy. Seriously... More

Baby its cold out there,...so we stepped into this place which was located just outside the shopping strip and boy we were in for a treat. Satay skewers and gyoza were gorgeous the Beef Rendang and Nasi Goring were divine. Others who had pad thai and wonton noodles enjoyed their meals too.

I sampled Chilli Padi several months ago to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday. Because I was such in a great hurry (I’m a breastfeeding mum) and it was a coolish evening, I ordered a bowl of Laksa and wolfed it down. And I wasn’t disappointed! It was a generous serve of just the right spiciness and coconut flavour, which you would... More

Really enjoyed our evening meal here. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. Extensive menu also. We sat outside in the laneway leading into Melbourne Central and the atmosphere was good. Would definitely return next time I am in Melbourne.
