Nice coffee, but breakfast here was nothing special at all. Eggs on sourdough appeared to be just eggs on a piece of plain white toast.

While the food was OK the restaurant because of its size lacks atmosphere for a totally memorable experience and staff were indifferent, the venue may come alive after dark and present a totally different picture.

Not dreadful but getting there. Had a Caesar Salad with chicken. Tragic - no finess - big blocks of everything rather than being a well balanced salad. Do they not know how to grind down anchovies into a Caesar Dressing? Friendly staff and a basic choice - ok if there's no alternative but not up to Melbourne cafe standards.

The staff diodnt have our booking but able to get to a table immediately. You are in the middle of the hotel,close to reception,lifts and it was lit up like a christmas tree - no ambience to speak of. Quite good menu, quality was good. The wine and drink list was also interesting.

My husband and I enjoyed a great meal there last night. The food was tasty, hot and well presented. The service was attentive but no intrusive and there is a nice upbeat ambiance. Would definately visit again.
