Wonderful ambience as you enter this darkened restaurant. Staff are attentive without being intrusive (not always found) Menu choices are amazing as is the 'sake list' A must for anyone who loves their Japanese

Taken here by a friend for lunch. The individual starters are delectible especially the natural oysters & the crab. Bento boxes are a winner. Good fast service. A place to return.

Chose this restaurant pretty much at random but liked the sound of the 5hr baked ribs on the menu outside the door. Unfortunately they were not on the menu in the restaurant! After wandering down Flinders Lane one night trying to come up with a new foodie experience we stumbled across Hako. Thank goodness! The very friendly waitress recommended some plates to share and we were in heaven. There were lots of oohs and ahhs coming from my friend and I. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Japanese food.

Been to the Flinders Lane restaurant recently n really love the food ;)
