Value for money, quick, good taste. I recommend the curry (you can never go wrong with Japanese curry really) and the sashi don (the one with salmon). This is a quick and ready place with minimal decor, a student feel.

During our stay in Melbourne we went minimum once a week there. It's very cheap, fast and the food is very good. We recommend the curry don which is amazing. We will definitely miss that place now that we are leaving.

Wow, big bowl of food for under $10. The sashi don gets you heaps of fresh salmon sashimi for $9 and the curry don is $6.7. We were in Melbourne for 3 days and went there 3 times!

Don Don has been around for years and is famous for being one of the best value for money Japanese Cafés in Melbourne. It is always busy and quite tight for space so don't expect a spacious cafe. I love their bento box.

Cheap and very quick service. Excellent value! I had the Japanese curry which was nice. Generous amount of rice. Great for lunch.
