I was a regular at both the old Il Gambero and the old Santino's, and I'm still a regular at the new Il Gambero on the Park which combines the best of both its predecessors' menus. Unpretentious Italian food that's delicious and inexpensive.

Popped in for a takeaway pizza, The staff were always smiling and keen for a laugh and a chat, the pizza was great! We also managed to sweet talk the gentleman behind the counter into throwing in some free lemons for our corona's when we got back to the hotel :) Thankyou!!
My favourite when at uni in the early 70's. Moved down the round but if the same, bellimissimo!

Nothing flash here, but you will always get fast, friendly service and a tasty, filling meal at reasonable prices. Haven't checked whether the place has risen from the ashes of a fire that gutted the restaurant, but will be back if they re-open!
We had an impromptu walk-in table for eight on a Sunday evening, and received very good service.
The menu, wine list, and prices were good, and our meals were delivered very quickly.
My main-sized course of seafood risotto Napoli was very generous and too salty for me to finish. Everyone was very happy with their individual pizza, and the Italian...

Best food we had the whole trip. It was absolutely delicious (we all had starter, main and dessert) and the...
