My husband is Vietnamese and thoroughly enjoyed the pho that they made at the Mekong restaurant. He tried the beef special, which he loved. We visited twice and ordered take away each time - first visit, wait was about 10mins. Second visit - over 20mins and when we asked them about it, they had lost all records of our order!... More

Great food at a great price. Service is super quick and the place draws a crowd; they obviously know that it's worth a visit. Will definitely come again when I'm next in Melbourne.

Hectic atmosphere aside the value for money at this place is second to none. I have tried most of the Pho here and every time it has been delicious, and they have all the yummy condiments like onions, chilli, chilli sauce, sweet soy, vinegar to spice up and vary up your dish. It's no frills, no fuss, very quick and... More

I like this place for its quality food and range. The restaurant is often crowded and so it is not a place for good ambience or a leisurely meal, however, I have been there several times just for the quality food.

I love the food here, favorites are tha chicken pho, vermicelli spring rolls and the chicken and prawn rolls. They also do a great homemade iced lemon tea which makes you wonder why people buy the rubbish in a bottle. My only complaint would be I wish they would give the windows, mirrors and walls a damn good clean.

My Vietnamese rolls were excellent and fresh. My beef noodle soup taste was very tasty. The other fish and chicken dishes were good and our experience in this restaurant was very good.

Really good Pho! The spring roll is also very fresh, service was quick and friendly. The beef was tender and the portion was big even for a small size! Really enjoyed it.

One of my favourite in the cbd with probably the only few left with springroll with decent bite and not reduced to pinky size like most others. Service has vastlyimproved with younger generation taking over management. A comfort place to eat anytime.

6p and the place was full to the gills with approx 99% Asians so that is usually a good sign.  Ordered the fish cakes (which were a little too fishy for my personal taste), cold shrimp rolls and chicken on cabage salad.  Good value for money and every table is equiped with a water caraffe and tea as well.  Service...
