Wow, this was the most wonderful dining experience we had in Melbourne over the weekend and the dining quality in Melbourne is pretty high. The food was incredible, service was fantastic and helpful, ambience was incredible and I it is an experience I will never forget.

My girlfriend and I were lucky to have lunch at this underground Melbourne establishment. Staff managed to strike the balance between friendly professionalism and intimate knowledge of their food. We enjoyed the cured ocean trout, eggplant and tofu delight and fried cauliflower. All superbly done with delicate balance of flavours. We will be back.

Saturday night in Melbourne, many restaurants all full but at Coda the front of house went to great lengths to accommodate 3 of us at the bar. our wonderful waiter selected dishes for us; a series of taste sensations. We missed out in getting in here on our last trip to Melbourne but this experience really made up for it.We chose an 8 course degustation with matching wines. Really buzzy restaurant, Food excellent, lots of tapas style things which we really enjoy. The four of us ordered a lot of dishes and we couldn't fault one. Rendezvous with hubby for a lovely lunch on his footy trip weekend. Loved the shared menu. We had several of the smaller courses including crispy prawn in betel leaf, soft rice paper rolls and quail in lettuce cups, followed by tuna salad and beef tartare. To sum up, this place was an interesting tapas bar with very nice food throughout the meal but overall an expensive evening. We sat at the bar so our service was good but still a little lengthy... Would recommend for a nice occasion but something missing to make this a very special place

Dropped in with a colleague whilst over for business. Place was packed. Good drinks list good and eclectic menu. We were gfounds a place at the bar as no booking, this was good as the place was full. Service was quick and friendly. Recommended.

This would be for me a 5 star restaurant the service A+ the staff new their stuff food & wine choices. Menu top class, price very reasonable seating plenty of room to move not cramped. I will visit again
