I am told that this retaurant has changed hands twice in recent times. Unfortunately the standard has dropped It did not start well with booking mixup. Food not up to price tag. Waiters did not know how to treat a customer . Wine list starting price ridiculous for a small suburban restaurant where ladies lunch.

We eat at the Wildflower a couple of times a month. The owners know us by name and treat us like royality. The food is always wonderful. The food was fantastic and high quality. The atmosphere was enjoyable. Could sit outside if the weather was hotter, but that's Melbourne. Not a normal suburban restaurant. Worth a look.

We always end up going here for special occassions (birthdays, anniversary etc). We love it. It's at the upper end of the price scale but worth it if you are going to splash out. Nice experience especially summer nights dining outside. Food can be a bit lite on, and highly priced.
