Good clean food, plenty of choice on the menu and close to the business hub of Melbourne

It has a lovely front bar where you can have drinks and/or great share plates but the restaurant upstairs is what you go for. I heard it was going to close in Jan 2012 - hopefully that doesn't occur.

I had dinner with my teen son in the restaurant. We enjoyed the food very much. I must also compliment the staff who provided a high standard of service. Very satisfying dinning experience.

Melbourne doesn't really do restaurants with views. Verge is one of the few exceptions with a view from the upper level through tree tops and across the gorgeous Treasury Gardens. My partner and I were catching up with friends in Melbourne and this was restaurant they brought us. It's opposite to the Parliament House and looks very Trendy. Ground floor is a very trend bar where you can drink and talk. The restaurant is upstairs overlooking the parliament. It was jammed pack on a Thursday evening. The service was excellent.... More
