Excellent service and great value and yummy food. Very pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Melbourne

Disappointing breakfast - Uninteresting and did not deliver what was described on the menu (missing ingredient). However this was compensated for in the bill. The service was unfriendly and overall having had reasonably high expectations of this well regarded restaurant, it was not a good start to the day.

Great food at a reasonable price. I would recommend the tapas dishes, each one with lovely flavours, our favourite being the calamaria, zuccini and sweet baby peppers. The service was great - attentive without being intrusive. We also happened to go in during happy hour and had $5 Coronas and $4 House white... a bargain!

Food is fabulous here and the atmosphere is very cool and sophisticated. Late nights at Veludo are for dancing and drinking, it's busy and sweaty but perfect if that is what you are after.

We had pizza with chorizo, caramelised onions and potato - the potato was interesting but the pizza was lovely and very tasty. Also had a bagel with pastrimi, pickle, cream cheese, really tasty and fresh. Good service, lovely atmosphere.

Had heard of this place before, but had only been to the bar upstairs for the music. Tried dinner one night when our reservation was stuffed up elsewhere. Tell ya what, we had a blast with our server who actually had personality! Started with a few tapas plates and then individual dinners. Absolutely scrumptious. Thanks!!

Literally stumbled upon Veludo on our way home but were lured in with BYO night. Which they offer evry wednesday! We took two bottles of wine and ordered plenty of food. Great offer and even better food. See you next weds!!!

This place is so very St Kilda, relaxed and funky. Great food and they have refurbished their restaurant and it has come up a treat. The service was very attentive and friendly.
