The Stokehouse down stairs is always a great place for bunch. Having been there a million times i am never disappointed. The views are great, the service fine and the food yummy. There is not much more you can ask for when you have brunch in Melbourne. More

The views at St Kilda Beach were awesome, but they paled in comparison to our meal at the Stokehouse. The zucchini/goat cheese entree was incredible. I wanted to lick my plate clean, but controlled myself. During the 10 days we spent in Australia, this was by far the favorite meal of everyone in our group. More

The food here is lovely and the view divine, however the experience was tainted by being asked by the staff to move tables as the owner wanted to entertain his overseas guests at that particular table. I myself was entertaining an overseas business guest and felt that I wasn't as important as a paying guest as the owner! We were... More

The food was wonderfully tasty and fresh. The upstairs restaurant was beautiful even on a wet and wild day. The downstairs restaurant/cafe looked great and looked like a great place to go and eat with a group of friends. I was here for a business lunch and will look to come again either on business or with my wife. Well... More

Downstairs was a really suitable venue for a family lunch for three generations. The menu was limited but everyone found a dish to their taste. We had a table with a view of the bay and the staff were attractive, young and efficient. No stuffiness here. More

Just a noisy cafe next to the beach. Very noisy, expensive for what you get, seriously overated. Go for a walk along the foreshore instead. More

Stokehouse downstairs has always been best for pizza and drinks, but no other food as it was always very oily and average....however, we were there on Saturday and managed to snag a table in the sun outside - not expecting much from the menu, until the waitress brought out the new menus. My trout was delicious and so was my... More
