This very busy establishment tells it's own story. People where queing out the door, but the wait was surprisingly short. The food was delivered quickly and always hot. Great authentic tasty Yum Cha - no wonder it's an institution.

I took a French friend to Shark Fin House to sample Melbourne Yum-cha. It was great to see his reaction to the wonderful variety and quality ot Yum-Cha dishes this restaurant had to offer. I still remember his fascinating call back to the folks in France to recount his experience of eating the best meal of his life ! No...

Recommended by my friend's father-in-law, we finally found the place after trying to recall its name. Walked in at 11:45am and was initially told by the staff to return in 45mins. After some pleading to another staff, we were told to come back in 15mins :) Came back at 12noon and was seated at the ground floor restaurant in about...

Took my family and friends for a Saturday lunch and we had one of the best dim sum we ever had. Ordered a whole bunch and enjoyed every single thing we ordered. Food was fresh and delicous, service was just ok. Overall we all enjoyed the experience.

Best Yum Cha I've ever had, they still bring the dishes to the table on the heated trolleys, a real treat, and the food is fabulous.

The flavours were dull, it was over priced and they made a mistake on our bill and although we offered to pay the extra they were rude and acted like it was our fault they left items off the bill.

I have to say this place was really disappointing. Basically only one cart would come around at any one time and they didn’t seem to alternate them very effectively so we ultimately had to wait for over 45 minutes for simple prawn dumplings. Overall the food was way too salty so it was pretty disappointing. When the bill turned up...
