I like my yum cha a bit sophisticated, so I come here. The extra you get is beautiful linen, great views and better service. More

Oh Wah... sum dum twink serving me us without as much as a smile! Food typical of tourist strip relying on locale with little regard to repeat customers. Peking duck NOT presented and carved at the table.! Frozen chinese packet peeled prawns used in the food, NOT fresh green prawns. Small serves in so-called 'banquet' offerings. Unimaginative basic dishes served... More

Red Emperor is well located on the banks of the Yarra river and on a sunny day the view across the river to the city is very nice with the rowers and little boats going by. My booking was very well handled and my request for a window table was granted. The staff were attentive and the wine list is... More

The Yum Cha lunch was excellent. The restaurant overlooks the Yarra River and has some nice views. The food was fresh and light and there were some innovative dishes. We did not have the 'all you can eat' at 50 dollars a person but we had plenty of food and it cost us only 30 dollars. Unless you are starving,... More

Food is solidly good, rather than anything spectacular. Service is always professional. View overlooking the Yarra and the CBD is great for overseas guests staying in the vicinity, although I think I read that they are moving soon. More

We went here since the top recommendation of our concierge and the highest tripadvidor rated chinese restaurant in the vicinity - Flower Drum was closed over the holidays... Ended up picking this restaurant over a couple of other China Town options because of the menu - we love sichuan food. Ordered sweet corn soup, deep fried flounder with sichuan spices,... More
