Very basic decor - dimly lit, cheap-looking decorations on the walls, student servers dressed in jeans - was hoping all that might mean good value and good food, but alas not to be. Looking for a good chinese restaurant in Melbourne Chinatown after the Melbourne Grand Prix, we discovered Pepper Chilli on the Little Bourke street, located right next to Her Majesty's Theater. I went with a demanding crowd, and the service was very good, but very slow. I wouldn't call the food "bad", but it was extremely average. Nothing special. They do have a feel "chilli" dishes but no more than any other restaurant. More
