Beautiful Japanese decor, fantastic food and chefs with a sense of humour. Great place to celebrate a birthday or party. Must try.

I went there recently, private room and all, to celebrate a friend's birthday. I just cannot understand why anyone would think that this is a great restaurant. The staff just didn't know what to do, they were running around in circles, delivering the wrong orders for the drinks and pouring out the wrong wine. Our host was very gracious and...

Our first visit to this restaurant was to celebrate our daughter's birthday in November. It was a last minute booking and we chose the restaurant because our daughter liked the name! We were pleasantly surprised on arrival as the setting is just delightful. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed our food choices from the a la carte menu....

Best sushi rolls, lovely ambiance very relaxing. Also do teppanyaki which seems very popular but we can't tear ourselves away from the a la carte menu

Have dined at Koko's many many times. Last 3 times we have done the teppanyaki for Mothers (x2) and Father's day, which we received gifts too - nice touch!!
Each time we have been there whether Al-a-carte or Teppanyaki, the food has been sensational, and we have never experienced poor service. Have done the private rooms twice (my husbands 40th...

Koko is a pleasure to visit. Service, food and atmosphere are excellent. Interstate visitors raved about the view and the Crown experience. Wait service made us feel very, very special. I'll have no hesistation in taking visitots from interstate or overseas there at any time.

The miso soup came out and set the standard.. I have never tasted miso soup...

Tried this restaurant on a quite night, took advantage of their 2 courses and 2 wines deal. Good choice from the menu, excluding Wagyu and Sushi/sashimi. Meals were good, tasty, Wine was good. Nothing to rave about. There are better Japanese restaurants in Melbourne and there are worse.

Booked a table for 2 online, received a phone call & email confirmation - so far so good. Arrived on time, left hanging around in the doorway for too long, then shown to the Teppanyaki table which we didn't want. Left there while they went to look for another table - in the far corner with a view across the...

Fistly - the food at this Japanese restaurant is exceptional. I have dined at this restaurant twice, and both times we have enjoyed magnificent food - yet our experiences at this restaurant were completely different.
When we went to this restaurant in 2008, it was an amazing dining experience. We were guided to our table by the wonderful staff over...
