Always good quality sushi though portions seem to have shrunk over time. I am pretty boring and generally have pretty much the same thing everytime I go so beyond the sushi sashimi tempura and hand rolls I can't comment. More

The service was efficient without being effusive, the food is somewhat limited with traditional Japanese dishes done well. Standouts are the Sushi and Sashimi and the Sukiyaki cooked at the table. The menu is very limited for strict vegetarians as most dishes are made with dashi (fish stock). Despite the recent renovation the decor looks dated. THe wine list is... More

Kenzan is an oasis of good food amongst all the fast food and take-away places in Collins Place. Their Korin lunch special is great value and very filling.Set Lunch $38.00 Korin Sashimi, small appetizer, prawn dumplings and a choice of teriyaki chicken OR beef with rice and miso soup Complemented by a couple of Asahi beers and good service it... Been here twice and I swear it was two different restaurants. The first time was fantastic. The meal was fresh and delicious, the second time round was rather ordinary. Although the meal was good, the service was terrible. More

There is modern Japanese and Traditional Japanese - tis is definitely the latter. Don't go looking for cutting edge modern dishes changing from week to week - it does the same thing week in week out and that's why so many people return. Very Good for lunch or dinner. More

We love our Jap food and almost every time we go out on holiday, we find a nice Japanese restaurant at the location. I thought food at Kenzan was pretty good and had great service. But I think it is a little over price. More

Truly the most beautifully prepared sushi that we have eaten. Succulent flavours and immaculately presented. Excellent service and a traditional Japanese atmosphere and decor. Will definitely be going back. More

I took my young son for a cheeky lunch and we had a bento box and vegetables tempura which was sooo fresh and tasty. The restaurant was busy with lots of buisiness suits but the lovely staff made an effort to make sure my son was comfortable.Great sushi,so fresh it was almost flinching and can't wait to go back More

This place had great food and a nice atmosphere. We walked in off the street on our way to the football and you would not normally see this place unless you were walking on Flinders Lane or through Collins Place. The food was priced a bit higher than I expected but it was still good!!! More

This is my second visit. The first was great and so as this time around. Their sashimi is really fresh. Sushi is of course made on the spot upon ordering, so it's still warm and nice. High food quality, nice ambience plus prompt and friendly service makes it a decent place for business meals, or some romantic/formal night-outs. When you... More
