Not sure what to make of Donovans any more. Some experiences have been wonderful, others pretty woeful. It seems on any particular occasion recently, either the food or the service is lacking. Nice spot, particularly to watch the sun go down but bring your sunglasses as it can be very hard on the eyes! More

Thank god I didn't have to pay for the meal as it was a work bonus. Food was terrible. Service was OK. Don't waste your money just cause it's got a great location. There are heaps better restaurants out there. More

We booked here on recommendations, every month we eat out somewhere "nice" with family and we ended with Donovans in December. Location is brilliant right on the beachfront, food can always be relied on for quality and choice, staff are knowledgeable and atmosphere and menu (food and beverage) is interesting. Been many times over the years, and it never lets us down! More

Great locat but noisy and too busy. Years ago it was great nice meals and reasonable prices. Now too crowded too expensive! and not personal. More
