My Husband and I are pretty regulars at Carlton Curry House. It's a delight to eat such good India food at a reasonable price.Being an Indian person I would recommend Carlton Curry House to all the curry lovers out there as this is the closest you can get to authentic India.

I've been to Carlton Curry House several times with friends and family. The food is always excellent, served either hot or less than hot according to your requirements. Researched many, from reviews thought it would have been great. Did not live up to it's name the night we went. Entrees were quite good, mains were NOT !!! If u r a regular Indian food eater/ maker of curries, u will understand. Not enough marinating of meats/ intensity of flavours !!!

I decided to have a takeaway lunch and for $13 I was very impressed. I had lamb curry, plain naan bread and a samosa. All for $13! Service was quick and the lunch was tasty and filling. There are many Indian restaurants along Lygon Street but I would recommend Carlton Curry House.

Bloody marvelous! Excellent food and service, would definitely recommend to anyone with a weakness for great Indian food. Atmosphere was average, the focus was definitely on the food:-)
