The array of delectable cakes and sweet treats at Brunetti's is so fabulous that it's worth skipping coffee and dessert at the restaurant of your choice in Lygon St and migrating to Brunetti's. Deciding what to have is always a challenge, but I do have a soft spot for their florentines. You need to order at the counter and wait... More

The reason to go to Brunetti is for the vast array of delicious pastries, cakes and desserts. They have several stores. As others have said, the Lygon street store has the best range. The Camberwell store and Melbourne ones are also nice. (I haven't tried other locations) There is also great coffee, savoury pastries and salads. The decor and atmosphere... More

You only have to see the crowds to know how popular Brunetti's in Carlton is with the locals. The range of cakes will dazzle you. The coffee and hot chocolate are excellent. It is an experience not to be missed. More

the location is great in the city square, but the coffee is cold and the cakes are usually a bit old. I keep hoping that it will meet the standard of the original Carlton Brunetti's, so will keep going back. More

Pricey but worth it for the experience. An amazing range of cakes and it coffee is pretty good. The Lygon (actually Faraday) street one is a real experience in terms of size and glamour More

Its big its loud it Italian, there are a couple of these chains stores around town however if you have to go to one on Lygon, the coffee is better and just sitting there and watching the people line up to buy the cakes is just amazing..... If you need to buy a cake for a dinner thing go there! More

Personally their Hot Chocolates are the best!! They are so smooth and amazing on a cooler winter Melbourne day! They have very exquisite food as well. Not too expensive but I wouldn't get lunch or anything major here. Just a coffee and a danish suits perfectly to this one. This isn't a special attraction of Melbourne but has amazing hot... More
