The pastries are divine. My beef pie was delicious, even eaten cold on an aeroplane eight hours later. There's a reason why this place is so busy. It is often crowded -- it's a small place and tables are closed together and yes it is still very crowded on a Saturday morning with a queue waiting for tables. Pick your... More

The baked goods here are first rate. Bread, pies, cakes all excellent. You can eat in, have coffee and cake, or lunch and a glass of wine. Go in late morning for a less frenetic experience! It gets really busy on Sat mornings and please leave your baby carriage outside, as space is seriously limited. More

Have never dined here as it is always jam packed, but often stop here to buy their excellent breads and pastries. Must try their Shoo fly buns, brilliant! More

This is our local bakery which makes us very fortunate. The bread and pastries are some of the best in the world. I hold their escargot in the highest regard. Their do a great breakfast and their coffee isn't too bad. Historically their service is appalling and it really depends if they are busy or not. The staff can be... More

With much anticipation I finally ventured off to Brunswick Street to Babka. I'd read and heard so many wonderful things about the food and the bakery goods and I can tell you right now -I still am no wiser about the food and bakery goods. I walked into a busy Saturday morning of overwhelmed staff and disgruntled customers. I wish... More

Good coffee, delicious Russian Blintzes. Sometimes VERY busy. Lovely and cosy, though. Love sitting in the window spots and watching the world go by. More

I went in for a late lunch on a weekday around 4pm and it was quite busy! Lovely bread and my husband had Siberian lamb pasta which was very yum!!! The service was really friendly too! Would highly recommend it. More

It's a bakery with Russian options. We opted for a sausage roll and a salad - both of which were delicious. The sausage roll came with fresh bread and butter (mmmmmmmm), rocket and good sauce - it was definitely a high quality sausage roll. The salad was a decent size. More
