Whenever we're in Melbourne a breakfast stop at The Quarter is without a doubt a must. They have the best fruit toast in history and I love their scrambles eggs too. The staff are very friendly and exceptionally attentive. It can get a little cramped, especially when it's busy but it also has that iconic Melbourne laneway cafe atmosphere. More

This restaurant is in Degraves street off Flinders, a small laneway with restaurants. Food was good, not overly priced and service efficient(including payment of the bill). I sometimes have water with my meals and waiters were continually on the ball topping up peoples glasses. More
