35 floors up, modern surroundings, pleasant waiters, and a menu with up-scale bistro cooking... what's not to like? Because it's in a hotel and you have to take the lift up, there's something agreeably secretive about the location. The food has the smart edge of modern bistro cooking - imaginative entrees, and place-of-origin oysters and beef. I liked the kingfish... More

Beautiful views but terrible service? Food was great but the waiters Ned some training on service. More

After a morning ballooning, we were treated to Breakfast at the Sofitel. It had excellent service, really good coffee and an above average hotel all you can eat breakfast spread. It may have been the euphoria of the ballooning, but I really enjoyed the experience - and if you want to really experience the view - try the toilets -... More

This is an amazing place. Service is the best iv ever had, the food is great, and the venue is top class. Enjoy a drink in the atrium bar before dinner. Make sure you go to the toilet, the view is amazing especially if there is a night football game at the mcg! More

My wife & I stayed at the Sofitel on Collins St over the Easter long weekend and decided to have dinner at No 35. Apart from being reasonably priced the extensive wine list is slightly outdone by their level of service. The views out of the floor to ceiling windows on the 35th floor at night are spectacular. The chef... More

I took my girlfriend here for her "special birthday" and it was everything I expected and more. Celebrated with another friend and in her words "THE FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR" and so fresh. I booked the table about 3 months in advanced and asked for a window seat, well we got the WINDOW/WINDOW SEAT, right on the corner so you could... More
