Had breakfast there during my stay in the hotel. Good variety of foods hot and cold. Yummy gluten free bread. Very friendly and helpful staff. You need to ask for specialty foods, but that wasnt a problem More

We were not very hungry as had been eating all day so ordered an entree each and they were huge. Could not eat it all but it was very tasty. Had a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc too. Good spot for a quick bite after shopping all day. More

I stay at the Mercure Welcome quite regularly when in Melbourne on business trips, and find it to be well located and adequate for this. Tonight was the first time I've dined at the Louden, and while the staff were welcoming initially and the food was quite nice, I was surprised when the waiter took away my pasta plate and... More

Had eaten here during a previous stay a few years ago, remember it being better than this! Very limited selection for breakfast 'buffet', and what was available was average at best. Cereals, juice, toast, youghurt, and fruit- all in their most basic forms, and then Bacon and Eggs (& hashbrowns). No chipolatas/sausages, croissants/pastries, muffins etc. Terrible service and communication between... More

We paid the $20 for breakfast here in the hotel - quite possibly the worst buffet breakfast I've ever had. Do not spend your money on this..! More

I have had many dinners here and always enjoyed them. Service is fast and if you are dining here as a couple, the Accor Advantage Card gives you 50% off the Food Bill and that makes it a bargain! Reasonably priced wines and a good number by the glass, make this an excellent choice if you are staying in the... More

Ate here using Accor membership card. Made to sit very close to another couple even though restaurant was empty. Ordered two steaks, mine well done, wife's medium but with different toppings. Waiter bought them out and described them, had them wrong and was advised. He went back to the kitchen and returned to advise that he had described them wrong... More

I had two breakfasts and one dinner at the Louden during a stay in the associated hotel (Mercure Welcome). The buffet breakfast (which was booked at the same time as the internet hotel booking) is considered excellent value at $14 per person. As well as a Western buffet breakfast option (scrambled egg, bacon, hash brown, tomato and baked beans), the... More
