On the Lygon Street strip, this restaurant does look a bit dated, but the food was good, we were served quickly and the prices weren't too exxy. The parma was very nice and the service was very good.

Despite the poor reviews above I found this restaurant the be pleasant. The staff were polite and friendly, and the obvious newness of one waitress was more than made up for by extra thoroughness on the behalf of the other. Meals were very well priced, and arrived in a timely fashion. I had gratinated oysters for the entree that were...

The owner was standing on the street sweet talk customers into his restaurant. we were tired so we thought to give it a try. We got the menu, but no one came to take our orders. We looked at the owner quiet a few times, he just looked away. After 20 minutes of waiting, I waved at him and ask...

Worst experience ever. Everything was worste than terrible.
My friends and I were one of the tourists which were conned by the owner. Their offer of three bottles of wine turned to a free round of house wines, juice and 2 types of beers. We should have paid for the free garlic bread they threw in and walked away, but...

I went here with my mum and dad, my girlfriend and her parents. The free drinks got us in but once seated we were totally forgotten about. It was almost as if we were invisible. There was only one other table (of about 10 people) in the restaurant and all staff members were either trying to sort their orders out...

We were a group of five looking for a place to eat. We parked outside the restaurant and were coaxed in by the owner offering the best italian food in town and a bottle of wine. We said we weren't wine drinkers so he offered complimentary glass fo spirit. We said we would walk around first, he kept insisting that...

We were coaxed in by the man at the front who assured us they were the "best restaurant with the best quality food." what a joke that was. Although the owner acknowledged us, it took her 20 mins to take our order and ran off mid order to take a sip of her drink. It took them 80 minutes to...

Inticed by the best food you have ever tasted, and a free drink. What was served is no doubt the worst Italian I have ever tasted, I had a bolognese which had so much oil it was inediable. My wifes pizza had Mcfries like potato on top, What self respecting Italian chef can not knock out a half decent bolognese...

In Melbourne for the Australian open tennis, we headed for Lygon Street, reputed to be the best place for Italian restaurants. After perusing menus along the street we were offered a complementary glass of wine by a lady outside one restaurant so chose to eat there. Seeing quite a few tables outside with people dining we sat down. After a...

We were a group of seven that were coaxed into the restaurant as we were walking past. We were offered a free drink each, and seated at an outside table. It was 6pm. We had a show at Trades Hall to attend at 7.15pm, so thought we had plenty of time to eat. We told our waitress on more than...
