All writeups gave this restaurant fantastic reviews but if I were honest I would have to say we were disappointed . I was visiting from Sydney and took one daughter who lives in Melbourne and other daughter who was visiting from Perth . The garlic prawns in a clay pot were no different from any other garlic prawns . Very...

Went here with some business friends in late April 2012 and we sat at one of the high tables along the window. The calamari sandwich tapa and the slow cooked beef cheeks were superb and worth a return visit for those alone. If you don't eat pork, most of the menu is off limits for you. That said, we managed...

The food was excellent quality and very creative. Do not miss the Beef Cheek dish, it is so tender you do not need a knife. Staff were professional, on the ball ,pleasant and helpful. Don't miss this place.

Thought we'd give the Movida family another go but much like it's bigger brother, we just didn't feel the 'love' and hype. The food was ok, service was excellent.

I recently had dinner at Movida Aqui with a large group of colleagues. We decided to allow the restaurant to select our meal and were rewarded with am amazing selection of seductive dishes. The food was superb across the board and we were also very well looked after by the staff. I have no hesitation in recommending Movida Aqui.

Simliar menus with all the favourites we looked forward to. We had a tapa of abalone with mushroom and mayonnaise, then shared mussels in sherry (fantastic), octopus with kipfler potatoes,...

When the Hosier Lane original is fully booked (which is always!) then this is a great 'overflow' option. Food offered is pretty much the same. The anchovies with smoked tomato sorbet is amazing - as is the slow cooked lamb neck in red wine.
