We enjoyed a couple of pizzas here that were good value, thanks to the quality of the ingredients and the huge portion sizes. A medium pizza is more than enough for someone with a very healthy appetite and we can thoroughly recommend the Meat Lovers' pizza, which was piled high with toppings and full of flavour. The staff are friendly... More

Only ordered "Penne Smoked Salmon" and was shocked to find the dish too salty. The sauce and the salmon were all very salty. The staff say it's because of the capers. One of the staff seemed to be very unhappy that I took the plate to the counter to inform them about it. He even came over to my table... More

I've been to Cafe Rosco a few times now over the past 6 months, dropping in each time I am down in Melbourne for a business trip. The staff are friendly and fun and the food pricing and quality are very good. It's great to see small restaurants around like this! More

Italian is everywhere in Melbourne, so Rosco has lots of competition. The fact that this little cafe is very busy, serving a predominantly local clientele, speaks volumes. Close to the Blackman. Open weekend evenings, when most other restaurants in this area are closed. Moderate prices. More

We loved the food here, and they were open late which was great for us when we stopped in. More

We all ate at Cafe Rosco after exhibiting at the Electronex show in Melbourne in Sep 2011. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, I had a pizza so laden with excellent toppings I couldn't even finish the medium size! Service was excellent, one member of our group didn't like the squid deep fried so they made a whole new plate cooked differently,... More

Got a late take-away more out of convenience rather than by choice as it was local and open at 8:30pm on a Sunday night. I ordered a spaghetti marinara with napolitana sauce and some herb bread. The size of the serves was larger than most. There was a very generous serve of seafood in the pasta. However, I have a... More
