It's been a while since I've been here and wow wee its still a great place which sends your taste buds going crazy. We shared a couple bottles of a Mornington Penisula Pinot Noir which was beautiful. This went really nice with our entrees of Pork Crackle and rich duck pate. That pate was absolutely delicious! The mains we had... More

From the moment we walked in we were taken care of. Great wine selection stored on the left side and a cosy bar on the right with back room table as a dining area out the back. Loads of wine by the glass, many more by the bottle. The food was interesting and full of taste. We had oysters (served... More

Only had a couple of bottles of wine so can't give a 5, but the selection of wines was fantastic, the staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the atmosphere both inside and out front (alfresco) was very cool.

It's worth it! The wine selection was excellent as was the house varieties they had on offer. The food nibbles were yummy particularly the (semolina?) chips. glad my friend suggested we meet here!!

Dined here about a week ago. We sat outside, Parisian-style, at a small table out on the footpath. My friend who lives in Melbourne comes here regularly, and decided to take me here during my stay. The service was extremely prompt and efficient. There was no menu given; you just read the specials and other dishes off a big blackboard... More

Been here for a few late lunches, and have never left particularly impresed. Sitting right on the bar with 4 staff members right there you would think you would be offered more drinks quickly sadly no, too busy talking to each other about god knows what, instead look after the customers. The food just so so... Average quality meat, when... More

Smack bang in the centre of the city, I go here often with visitors! Sit at the long bar for an excellent choice of superb wine by the glass, always meet other people to talk to, then have one of these low priced bistro meals or the cheese platter of your own composition, very casual, often frequented by celebrities from... We dropped in on Melbourne Cup Eve for a late night dessert and drink after dinner and a show before returning to the Ovolo Hotel round the corner. It was a balmy night so Al Fresco was the way to go. We really enjoyed our beautiful dessert and nightcap and the photogenic view of the Treasury Building under lights on... More
