5.30 pm and a rainy night in Hobart where to eat? Fish Frenzy sounded good I have been hearing raves about this place forever. I had not been there before but the other party frequents quiet often over the years. I had the seafood Laksa which was really very nice and spicy but just warm. The other meal was chips...

I had calamari and salad. Over priced and a very small portion. Kids behind the counter are sweet and friendly, however, overpriced and not a good portion size.

The last (and only) time I visited Fish Frenzy must have been ten years ago (or more). Back then it set a new benchmark for fish and chip standards with a mixture of quality, style and... panache? I was a bit unsure what i would get here for $16 fish/chips, but I have to say I was surprised. It was more than enough for one person and it is yummy. The dip I got was made for chips. Location is great, next to the wharf, and the service is good too.. I want more of this.

You can always go back to order more later if you;re still hungry! Great service and great food averaging around $16-$18 a meal so good...

Whether its takeaway or have in, your meal will come out fast and delish. Kinda expensive for a seafood 'fish & chips' type place, however, it is good quality and large portions. The hot chips are excellent too. My favourite meal is the fish burger.

Cheerful staff. Great fish and chips. Good location. But beware the parking limitations and keen parking inspectors. Parking indicators and signs are different from the mainland and could be overlooked.

Stopped in here on my quest for the best seafood chowder in Hobart. Place is nice, generally always busy, and has a good ambiance. Menu is quite nice although not that extensive. Seafood chowder was alright, too sweet for my palette and not enough fish.

The overall quality of the fish was very disappointing and tasteless.
