We are surprised to be serve by the 1 of the owner of this restaurant (cant remember his name). While we are lamenting on what to order, he recommended his special pizza and let us try the salami before we even order any food. Great interaction from him. We requested for a change in the ingredients in our pizza and... More

We were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel staff. I am so glad they did. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Solo and the guys were awesome hosts. The pizza was the best pizza I have ever eaten. The other reviewers must be extremely fussy as La Porchettas is so budget. Our friends who dined with us travel... More

Sofias is much better. On a good day even La Porchettas might beat this place. The saving grace is the good service and the very polite owner (& the great pictures on the wall) More

Ate here on our first night in Hobart (after a looooong trip). Friday night and it was packed. But we found a tbale. ordered calamari, pizza and prawn pasta. Pizza was a let down (no thin crust in sight). The pasta was oily but yummy. The calamari was allright. Service was super friendly (free ice cream for kids, and they... More

Recently dined at Solo based on TA reviews. Did not live up to expectations 11/ 5 ratings and 2 /4 ratings. Average decor Pleasant and efficient service. Prices very reasonable for the HUGE servings. Seemed to be filling up as we left after an early meal. Wife tried the house wine... totally undrinkable and replaced and charged for sparkling water...... More

As per usual went to the place based on TripAdvisor reviews. When we walked in I was a bit taken aback by the setup - too causal, not particularly modern or flash, close to needing renovations. But my first not too positive impression was more than over compensated by the quality of food and service. Every dish ordered at our... More

Fabulous restaurant, catering to groups, families and anyone who rocks in the door. Simon and Dimi, the guys who run this place, are super friendly and provide excellent service. The pizza here is fab. I love my pizza with a thin crust, as do my hubby and kids, so we order ours as such, and they are magnificent. For those... More
