We stumbled upon Flathead wandering the street whilst staying around the corner at the Islington hotel. Flathead is a small joint but not cramped in anyway at all. The place had a great feel and seemed to be pretty much full of locals. The menu was based around the fresh seafood available that day, with standards such as fish and...

I have been to this restaurant a few times to dine in and also to take away. The food is always fresh and well presented. The take away is possibly slightly more expensive that its competitors, however the quality of the food helps alleviate the hip pocket pain.

Nothing out of the ordinary as far as the food goes. Good staff & service but the food is overpriced. Would not go back as there are better places in Hobart.
