great restaurant with well presented meals. The menu is very "gourmet" and may not be to everyones taste. However the food is wonderful.

If there was one restaurant in Adelaide deserving of a Michelin star this would be it! The degustation menu is superb, lots of little twists to the tale. The smoked fish with truffle was sensational and the barbecued kangaroo (served in a smoky wine glass and with beer) so imaginative. Being Penfold's you must of course match your menu with...

The food, wine and views over Adelaide are beautiful. The degustation menu featuring Australian food was an experience to be savoured

It was probably the best dinner we had in Australia. The multi-course dinner was in a beautiful setting overlooking Adelaide and the valley with their best wines available for pairing or by the glass. Our evening included a private tour of the cellars with their history. Unfortunately the restaurant is now closed for renovation (certainly didn't look like it needed...

When can I return again????

The restaurant itself sits above the vines at the Magill estate with lovely...

Had the degustation with matching premium wine. Overall a pleasant experience. The venue has a tiny capacity which is a good thing. Service acceptable without being exceptional. Tiny portions of well presented food. Unfortunately we weren't 'blown away', as we were expecting to be. If you're flush with dollars, by all means, but we won't be back.
