I have heard people rave about Spats for years. I recently went with a friend on a saturday night and was very disappointed. I ordered the brandy basket. The whole thing was very average and had an unpleasant after taste. There was also a green sauce/syrup all over the icecream...no idea what that was! More

Opens late from 6 I think but the place is busy from then till close, sometimes has a line out the door. My favourite item is the Kenya Mocha Gold or the wafles YUM YUM YUM. More

Dark and very old fashioned (and dinky) interior, definitely not romantic. Desserts are huge but tend to be overdosed with cream. More
