We have eaten here twice and highly recommend this establishment. It is surrounded by plenty of restaurants that are more ethnic and casual, This is well worth the extra expense as it is a different eating experience. The food could not be faulted and we chose some excellent wines to match the food, so the absence of a sommelier was... More

Had the 5 course $50 degustation lunch special. Expected it to be nothing special at that price but were suitably impressed with the offerings in terms of the creativity and care given to creating the presentation and flavours of the dishes. However, while the first 4 dishes had good elements of' wow', the last dish, the dessert, was somewhat ordinary.... More

We stopped overnight in Adelaide from Melbourne & booked this restaurant as we like to try something new each time. We had the Degustation Menu which was absolutely sensational with a lot of thought going into each course and the sizes were perfect. Our waiter (think her name was Greta) was almost perfect with her timings & personality. More

We ate here with good friends a few weeks ago. We live in regional Australia so the opportunity for degustation options are pretty limited. We were attracted to the restaurant by recent reviews. The venue is large but were seated a great spot separated from the main busy part of the restaurant by sheer curtains that acted as a sound... More

Degustation was first class - Interesting and tasty. We enjoyed all the ingredients featured on each Dish and the combinations such as the wagyu and brisket. The service was very good and the restaurant fitout very slick. The only surprise was how empty the Restaurant was given the excellent food. More

I'd heard about it before and was aware of its reputation for food but was a little surprised by its location and size of the restaurant. The degustation style menu is creative and high quality and the service first class. It seemed an odd location nestling amongst the local Chinese restaurants and the restaurant itself seemed too large (presumably it... More

My wife and I went to dinner with two friends. We went for the 5 course degustation menu with the wine flight included. 1st course of tuma was terrific with a lovely Eden Valley Riesling. 2nd course of crab was accompanied by a Spanish white that smelt terrible and didn't taste much better. 3rd course was duck - this was... This restaurant lives uneasily amongst the many Asian cafes, steak houses and fish cafes in Gouger Street. It deserves to succeed. It seems to be struggling. The Wine List is excellent. The staff is well trained and engaged and the decor is exciting. You know when you walk in the door that you are in for a night out. However... More

Wonderful restaurant. A big surprise. Add an amuse bouche and a few mignardises and I was in france eating at at 2 Michelin-starred restaurant. We had the 5 course degustation menu - modified for allergy. Fantastic flavours. We loved it. The smoked kingfish with tomato foam was outstanding. Not too much food nor too little. All courses different, beautifully presented... More

The food was good, a little samey with some of the themes, but very enjoyable. The service (in keeping with Australian tradition) really let it down - a degustation is about the whole experience. The wine serves were stingey, the wines were local but uninteresting, the waiter was slightly patronising ("Which gland is this sweetbread?" is a direct question with... More
