This place was recommended to me by a friend and our hotel manager, nice casual place to have a meal for families. The fish and chips were amazing and staff were lovely. Reasonably priced.

We ate at the yacht club restaurant on a Sunday evening. The weather was balmy, the view was relaxing and the food was fabulous and great value. We had a bottle of wine, two main meals and a dessert for about $70. The beef cheek with mash was divine, the meat just melted in your mouth and how nice to... More

What a great idea. Free Sail on a Wednesday. We had the chance to go out with Ken & Trudy on their Yacht. Went on as guests and came off Friends. Lovely Couple and a Big Thanks from Liesl & I for the experience. Food after the sail was nice and very reasonable price. Ken hope the leg is on... More

This is a great local watering hole with very affordable good food and nice and hidden away. The sand flies can be a bit wicked but they do provide insect repellant.

I have recently returned from a trip to Port Douglas. My wife and I dined at the Yacht Club, which was a last minute decision. I chose the beer battered Barramundi ($26) and my wife had the Pork Belly ($24). My fish was one of the nicest pieces of battered fish that I have eaten in a long time. Having... More

Thought we'd give this a try after reading all the positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. The staff were friendly, the setting was great - right on the river with views from all tables. It's a good option if you're over paying the premium prices right in the heart of Port Douglas, food and drinks were very reasonably priced and... More

Big portions and very reasonable prices - specials board every night extra to normal menu and changed regularly - chicken parmenjana is huge - brilliant bar staff - and offers free Wednesday evening sailing on members yachts - be there 4pm to sign up - and wait to be invited - see Richard or the bar staff for info

We went on a Wednesday at 4pm (our hotel told us about it) put our name down in a sign on sheet and grabbed a drink. People who own sailing boats come around and ask you if you want to go on their boat for a sail. It goes for about 2 hours and its fantastic! You buy a couple... More
