We dined in and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. The bruschetta was tasty although rather small, but both the main courses were disappointing. My husband had the rib beef special and said it was just ok. I had the seared prawns and it was quite different from what I was expecting and although I ate it I didn't... More

Fantastic service from the moment we walked in on a busy Sunday night. We were made to feel welcome by a charming host and whilst the rest of the staff were young they were very keen to asssit whenever needed. Food is excellent, very good variety to choose from and we enjoyed pasta and pizza of above average quality. This... More

We had a meal here on our last night at Port Douglas. The food was excellent. The service was okay, not great. In terms of Italian cuisine, there was a good choice & both my wife & myself enjoyed our meals thoroughly.

I am not the most adventurous of eaters and my choice of courses here was flawed. I started with parmesan and garlic bread, which was the only disappointment of the evening. It consisted of a pizza type base with a small amount of parmesan and so little rosemary that I could count the individual leaves. Bland and somewhat oily. It... More

We ate dinner here on the last night of our trip and really enjoyed it. Having previously eaten at Bucci, which we were very disappointed by, we were pleased that Bel Cibo had great food, reasonable prices and very good staff. I would definitely recommend eating at Bel Cibo - delicious food (the rosemary potatoes are a must) and very... More

Two more visits to Bel Cibo whilst on our yearly pilgrimage to Port Douglas from the States. We can't speak highly enough of the wonderful food. The taste and presentation is always exceptional. There are two restaurants at which we will dine twice in the course of a weeks stay. One is in San Francisco, and the other is Bel... More

Went there Thursday night 30th May. I share this information in the hope the issue can be identified. I ordered take away pasta as my partner wasnt feeling 100% great staff, couldn't rate any more highly. We ordered gnocchi with pancetta, I know pancetta is salty however because the pasta didn't come with a sauce and just oil, it was... More

Nice italian food, casual dining experience. We visited on a very busy night and the young blonde lady who served us did a fantastic job.. she wasnt having the easiest of nights with a few surroundnig tables being what i would call.... rude! Really good service, nice food and bustling atmosphere.

Bel Cibo has a great menu, every choice we made was excellant. The flavours exceptional. Very friendly service by our Waiter Frederico! The owner came over for a chat as well. Would recommend anyone to go there.

Bel Cibo certainly lives up to its name. We ate there three times in the past week and enjoyed every dish. The owner and head chef and his staff and very friendly and helpful. You must try the seared scallops, they are sensational. We look forward to eating at Bel Cibo when we next visit Port Douglas
