Lovely view on the water front. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was good, decent size meal at a reasonable price. Isn't the flashiest of places but a nice little cafe.

On a recent business trip to Cairns we visited Al Porto each morning for breakfast. Service was friendly and quick, and the meals were generous and tasty. I had a banana smoothie every morning and they were delicious! I think their coffee needs work, and perhaps their staff need some barista training, as the coffees were burnt and the milk... More

My family and I had coffee's and breakfast while waiting to broard our boat for a reef trip. Wow. Coffee was burnt, and so was the croissants. The omlette was tasteless and the banana smoothie, don't even attempt to drink it. It was pretty much just milk with a slice of banana. Well, that's what it tasted like anyway. I'm... More

Awesome Muesli and Yogurt and great coffee. We had 3 mornings while in Cairns, and all started here. Started each day outside on the boardwalk next to the marina - would have liked to have tried the lunch, but we were out and about each day.

I had breakfast here twice as I was staying at the harbour lights. The food was average quality for the price. The view was amazing, I wasn't impressed by the staff on the second visit. They also charge 2% on credit cars transactions which they neglect to tell you when you're paying. When question the counter staff they were rude... More

The service here is great, food quality and selection very good, and you just can't beat the people watching from the outdoor tables under cover or in the sun. Right by the docks where the trips go out to the Reef.

A great location, friendly staff and fast service, but most off all the best breakfast in Australia. One of the few places anywhere that can cook a perfectly presented poached egg.Do yourself a big favour and get away from greasy hotel breakfasts .You wont be disappointed!

We ate here a couple of times for breakfast, staff were so nice and remembered the fact I didn't like pawpaw in my fruit for breakfast - became a bit of a laugh for them.Try the muesli with yoghurt - it was yummy - also my husband had the scrambled eggs - great, fast service, can be quite busy in...
