Wow! Reading the reviews of the Kookaburra Queen on the right of this page I would say only book the dinner cruise. We had a very pleasant cruise and as much prawns, bugs, and oysters as we could eat. It,s long enough to enjoy dinner and sit outside and see the river at night which is beautiful. If you paid... Best thing about going on the Kookaburra Queen was the weather and the river cruising. Had breakfast cruise recently and was extremely disappointed as the food had been sitting in bain-marie's for hours, was stone cold and tasted like rubber. For the price charged ($46each) the food was scandalous. Never again !! More

I booked breakfast on the Kookaburra Queen for Mother's Day for 5 people. What a DISGRACE!!! I was so ashamed and embarassed that I organised this and I felt really bad for my guests. The breakfast was terrible. For $46 it was disgusting slop in a bain marie that was cold. They had cereal with long life milk. I even... More

We were on the top deck. A little cramped but excellent staff and the food they turned on (buffet) was very good. More

I have lived in Brisbane all my life and my partner for 5 years.. I'd only been on the boat once for a high school semi-formal and he'd never been so we agreed to do lunch. We ended up booking for a Sunday and invited his Grandma and Aunt along as we thought they would be good company for a... More

The cruise and atmosphere was beautiful, very romantic wandering through the different levels of the boat and finding best viewpoints. Dinner service was as good as it can be on a boat! Food was plentiful, and they top up the buffets often. Wine list a little disappointing - nothing really nice on there, but after a few glasses, you forget... More

Second time we had enjoyed a River Cruise (went the first time to check out the food before NYE). On both occasions we had a great time & for NYE an first class view of the fireworks. More

Our kids bought us the tickets for a evening dinner cruise to celebrate a special occasion. The thought was there but the end result was poor. The river cruise was just that, a trip through the city reaches which is always nice but you can do the same on a City Cat. The service onboard was very good and the... More

We booked a large group for a family birthday and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Plentiful, fresh oysters, prawns, moreton bay bugs and crabs were complemented by a good range of hot and cold dishes. Delicious desserts, tea and coffee were included in the price of the buffet. The service in the buffet and at the bar was... More
