Do not over order if there is a group of you. We were a group of six with 5 dishes and 5 mixed entrees and there was still food left over. Each of the dishes we had were delicious and the meat was very tender. Service was prompt and the meals came at what felt like the right time. We... More

I am of mixed emotions when I say this is Fantastic food. The secret is now out and the HC will be even busier. Gali is a wonderful host and the seating out the back is the best place to be as it is a lot quieter and lots more ambience - though everyone has to be able to sit... More

Love the food at this place.Sometimes the service can be a bit flaky. I don't think this is due to any bad attitude or anything like this, but they could be a bit more attentive. However the amazing food makes up for it. More

The subtle Himalyan flavours are intoxicating. I was introduced to this restaurant 5 years ago and it's almost a staple every time I stay in Brissie (that's not because I am not adventurous). I love the food. Be daring try something you haven't, look at what others are ordering and learn the menu. It's BYO and usually you can walk... More

My husband and I are attempting to try each of the restaurants in New Farm during 2012 and the Himalayan Cafe certainly provided us with a nice dining experience. The food was fresh, served quickly in a very traditional atmosphere. Highly recommend the Himalayan bread with traditional dipping sauce - just one bread is ample to share as a starter... More

The food in the Himalayan Cafe lived up to all expectations. It was fresh, tasty and traditional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I would highly recommend the potato salad which was awesome. Would love to return one day. I highly recommend this cafe. More
