For the price you pay, you expect a lot food wise. The quality was average but they did shine in the environment and service department. More

Had the shabu shabu and some sake, the broth tasted like water because there wasn't enough ingredients to make the broth tasty. Extremely overpriced with food that were under flavored. I would rather go to the snook at portside, a least, there's a river view. More

This is one of my regular places to go with clients. Service is good but patchy. The food is good and always reliable. I have been going for many years ,and will still go as I like the food, and I know I can get in and out quickly. The prices have gone up, but are still not too bad More

This is a beautiful Japanese restaurant in the heart of the Queen St Mall. Great if you are having a shopping day or corporate lunch. By far the best restaurant in the mall. Food is authentic fresh Japanese with sushi and sashimi their speciality. The cooked food is great also and includes chicken teriyaki, black eyed cod (similar to nobu)... More

This is an excellent Japanese restaurant especially for sashimi and sushi lovers. For hard-core lovers of raw fish and shellfish, Australia is a bit lacking, but Sono ranks a favourable mention. The raw scampi, served completewith heads, was delicious and complemented with just the right wine (Simonnet Febvre) at a reasonable price. The selection of lightly seared sushi was delectable....
