Enjoyed a fabulous omlette with prosciutto for breakfast. Great coffee and service to boot. More

We ordered the field mushrooms with feta and served with poached eggs and they were delicious, though a little cool. We also ordered coffee which failed to materialise by the time our food was served. I asked the waitress to chase it up and she asked who we had ordered with. 'You' I replied. 'Whoops' she said 'I forgot to... More

Two words: Carrot Jam. My partner and I went for breakfast at The Chelsea and I ordered the Carrot Jam and Poached Eggs with Bacon. I substituted the Bacon for Grilled Salmon with ease and my parnter ordered the French Toast. The Carrot Jam: It was heavenly. We also ordered two coffees - my Skinny Hazelnut Flat White was smooth... More

Upon entry to "The Chelsea", I was a little disappointed. The setting was a little drap and stuffy. Kind of like that jacket you would see an old professor wearing while smoking a pipe. Not overly welcoming and perhaps a little more expensive then what you were expecting. The menu is quite limited but we all ordered something different. Service... More

I went here for Sunday breakfast and while the food was lovely and delivered in a timely manner, the staff were pushy and rude. We were seated outside and when we moved to an empty table under cover as it began to rain (it was not very busy at all) the waitress ran over to tell us we couldn't change... More

I was really excited when this place opened as the service and food was fantastic. I took a group of my Melbourne friends there when they were visiting and was highly embarassed that my rave reviews were met with an hour long wait for our food and tiny portions that really weren't worth the prices charged. The french fries rocked... More

My daughter and I went to the Chelsea for lunch after she had been for a wonderful breakfast. Sadly their lunch does not live up to the breakfast. I ordered the lamb kofta dish. It was nothing more than a dry lamb meat ball. No moisture or flavour to it at all. The wrap it was in, was the same.... More

We went to the Chelsea at the Barracks the other night for a meal and a drink based on the fact we had a gold card from the entertainment book. The food and waiter staff were excellent. However, the manager would not accept our entertainment cards at the end of the night. My understanding is that this is a breach... More

Food that is beautifully presented and tastes great. Lovely frenchy bistro decor. Service is warm and fast. Relaxed and refined is the way I would describe it. We have dined here four times and each time has been splendid each time. Good idea to eat here before going to the movies located nearby. More
