Had to attend a farewell here, after reading the reviews on TA I was braced for a terrible meal. I was pleasantly surprised as it was better than I thought it was going to be. The service was actually very good, the atmosphere is wonderful, but probably wouldn't return for the food. More

We had a great night and couldn't fault our food. This place offers casual dining where you can enjoy sitting on the wharf in relaxed attire while watching the dolphins (if you're lucky) & eating all Australian seafood (which we have found rare as most other local restaurants seem to import everything but the barramundi). We ordered the deluxe seafood... More

Poor drink service, poorly trained backpacker staff...if you could find the staff. 20-year old Manager who was not on the floor to supervise the cleaning of tables, the setting of tables and the list could go. The display of what you can order from the refrigerator cabinet is a scam, do not be fooled. OHS....none, in the event someone was... More

The Half Lobster display Looked magnificent and the price at $25.00 i thought was to good to pass up. When the meal came it was evident the Public is sucked in, Half Lobster my Aunt Fanny ! Couple of pieces of Lobster meat hidden in a Mornay Sauce.. Try somewhere else.. More

I should have read Trip Advisor first! Crustaceans used to be a great restaurant, but they've gone down-market... too far down. 1. The place is a dump. 2. They gave my deserved table away. 3. The two waitresses barely spoke english. 4. The menu is a piece of paper, like a hotel breakfast order with no descriptions for items costing... More

The location is lovely and the food was very good. We went for a romatic dinner and watched the sunset as we sipped our wine. More

I rarely leave a restaurant completely disappointed, but this was one of those rare occasions. Having your options shown to you in a display was just odd. As stated before, ticking off your dinner selection from a list with a pencil, felt like I was a ten year old at a pizza hut! Oysters were ok, not much room to... More

Prime location on the end of Stokes Hill Wharf with a big old fishing boat in the middle of the shed and ocean views all around - but that is not enough when you are subjected to a cafeteria experience. You know you are in trouble when there are photographs of the food to choose from. Order and pay at... More

Went there on our anniversary with friends. The food and atmosphere was sensational. The staff were friendly and pleasent. Dolphins were playing in the harbour. It was just wonderful. And the prices for the food are more than reasonable. I look forward to going back there. More

I sincerely wish I had read the reviews here before spending considerable time and money getting to/from Crustaceans in taxis. Instead, I had read reviews on LonelyPlanet and all there said that it was a great restaurant and was #11 of things to do in Darwin and it had great ambience and atmosphere. Well, I have to say that the... More
