Nice to walk into a cool oasis and receive good service. Lovely cool face towel and water brought to the table on arrival. Really good coffee. Enjoyed my croissant with cheese and ham - but a bit too long in the toaster so was oozing a bit too much. Would definitely recommend.

It was very hot and we were both tired and Java Spice Cafe was a refuge for our weary feet. It was cool, clean and well run. AND the coffee was excellent and my husband demolished a piece of their cake in record time.

Love the cold towel and ice water with a great coffee. Lots of nice touches like a chocolate covered coffee bean served with the coffee. I would go out of my way to have a coffee break here.

Pure bliss. From the moment you walk into the cool cafe your senses are fully engaged. They have really good coffee, the best gluten free carrot cake on the planet and the staff is very friendly with efficient service. If you are lucky enough to visit them on a Sunday, you will have live entertainment courtesy of the owner and... More

Hi and many thanks! We chose a new 'dry season' uniform to celebrate the beautiful weather coming up and we are glad you think it is sexy and classy! If you are going to have a coffee, it should be a good one (costs just us much to get an OK one so a great one is the level we... More

This is not your usual coffee palace. It is comfortable, pleasant and quiet enough to do business. You will see many people doing just that. It is popular, furnished with lounge chairs, decorated extravagantly. Coffee is good. Haven't eaten there, but it is just light meals - sangers etc. Service is good - you get a cold towel and water... More

Hello! Thank you for noting something special which we do that works really quite well. We often have business meetings, architects can lay out drawings on our teak tables, we have banks that do a little team building over coffee and fresh spicy raisin toast, we have a really good group of repeat business people who combine the serious stuff... The most epic cafe in Darwin. Well located on Mitchwell Street near the Parliament House with enough parking reasonably close by. Beautiful decor and excellent (but a little pricey at $4.90 a cap) coffee. A very good array of newspapers, fashion magazines etc to read. Can be crowded and difficult to find a seat on weekend mornings. A healthy mix... More

You are the best! Many thanks for being a return Guest at Java Spice Cafe Emporium. Our coffee is not the cheapest in Darwin but most agree it is the best (as it should be because we pay a small fortune for our beans! ) And we train our staff to make the most of the quality. It is table... More
